I went to school at Concordia University Wisconsin where I got my undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and Masters degree in Organizational Leadership and Administration. I recently moved back to Milwaukee after being home in Canada for the past two years. This is the area I went to school and my wife got a great job opportunity here, so we moved back.
I played NCAA Hockey at Concordia and have been weightlifting through my whole playing career. About two years after I ended my playing career, I got into CrossFit. I was looking to replace that team atmosphere which is something I found in CrossFit. I also love helping people reach new goals and am very passionate about fitness/nutrition. Being a CrossFit coach gives me an avenue to combine both of those passions.
My first CrossFit workout was 100 Bench Press at 135 and every time you break you run 400 meters. I enjoy pushing myself to new levels that I never thought I could, as well as learning new movements. My favorites are gymnastics-related because I’ve never worked on them before I started CrossFit.
My goals are pretty simple. I want to stay in shape for the rest of my life and be a good example of health to my friends/family. My favourite thing to do outside the gym is play with my 1 1/2 year old pup, Luna, and go to the movies with my beautiful wife, Carley.
