Day 18/21: Stress

I like to think of the Primal Lifestyle as being representative of four different inputs: nutrition, exercise, sleep and stress, Sleep is always a struggle but we all seem to be improving on that as a group. We have been dominating the nutrition aspect and everyone has been getting into the gym a lot and hopefully getting outside a little bit. Today we shall take on stress. In many ways modern man may not be adapted to deal with the stresses of everyday life. Always being connected, dealing with long commutes or job worries can contribute to a constantly stressful environment which completely disrupts your normal hormonal responses. This can easily contribute to weight gain along with a host of other issues. Take some time to read up on stress:
