As a gym we have been working hard over the past several months building up our foundational strength in the Squat, Press and Deadlift. Coming up on Saturday, September 19th we will all have the opportunity to test our strength and find new one rep maxes in a fun and supportive environment.
On Saturday, September 19th we will be running the CrossFit total as our Workout of the Day. This will be a special class which will begin at noon. Every member will get three attempts to establish a new one rep max in the Squat, Press and then the Deadlift. In the end you will have your “CrossFit Total”. This is a great benchmark and a way to gauge your progress in strength.
Also, immediately after the last Deadlift we will have our three year anniversary party. The first workout at CrossFit 414 was held on August 27, 2012. We haven’t yet properly celebrated so we will be firing up the grills and having some drinks to celebrate all of the new PRs and the anniversary.
