Charity Challenge 2.0

Charity Challenge 2.0 is upon us!  Last year we raised over $1300 and collected a truck full of in-kind goods. This year we want to up the ante and raise over $2000!

This year’s Charity Challenge is going to consist of TWO workouts, one that will be a retest and one that will be announced the week of the competition.  In addition to having two workouts, we are also going to have two competition levels consisting of a Scaled and an RX division.  Lots of prizes will be given out (not just for the top male and female score). So bring your A-game and let’s have a lot of fun with this event!

The 25 dollars for entrance into the final workout and holiday party will be in support of the Boys and Girls Club, Milwaukee’s largest youth serving agency.  All funds raised will be put towards the basic needs of the youth that the Boys and Girls Club. Such needs include safe places that offer academic support, free meals, and access to role models and programming tailored to meet the children’s needs. Baseline Test:  This week!  We are running the workout in class on Monday, but if you can not make it into the gym, we can schedule a time for you to get a baseline score down.

Charity Challenge Final and Party:  Saturday, December 13th.  The competition will begin at 2pm and we will be all wrapped up with the workouts by 5pm with the holiday festivities to follow.

Where:  CrossFit 414

Who:  We would love to see everyone sign up for the event and bring friends/family for both the final workout test and the holiday party!

What:  Everyone participating in the final event will pay $25 for entrance into the final workout with all proceeds going to the Boys and Girls Club.  We would love to achieve our goal of raising $2000, so any additional contribution would be great!
