“Big Floyd”

This Saturday we will be coming together to raise awareness and fundraise for a local organization, LIT MKE. There will be a workout component that is explained in the video below:

“Big Floyd” was designed by the Black Power Cleans Lifting Club out of D.C and goes as follows:

Cash Out: Donate, sign petitions, and spread awareness. Donate your money to the local organizations currently on the front lines fighting for Black lives.

We had a special t-shirt designed as part of this event. 100% of the net proceeds from t-shirt sales will go to LIT MKE. Check them out and read more about their mission here.

To minimize contact the day of the event and also open up sales to non-members of the gym we will only be conducting sales online for this event.

Logistics for Saturday:

This will be a long and challenging workout. We will be running two classes on Saturday at 9am and 10am. All that is needed for the workout is a barbell/pair of dumbbells. So, we will be able to accomodate up to 20 people in each time slot. If all of our WOD Pods fill up we will move some outside. Friends outside of CrossFit 414 are welcome to come as long as they feel comfortable taking on the workout.
